Excited for Pride and Prejudice and Zomies

Hello Everyone!

It’s Rachel. I thought it best to talk about my most anticipated movie release so far in 2016: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.  This movie doesn’t come out for another couple of days. And I am so excited for it! Let’s talk. (If you have not seen the trailer, then go and watch)

When I saw the trailer for the first time, my first thought was, “I need this movie in my life.” I mean, its Pride and Prejudice in a zombie apocalypse.

I have always loved Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. Iv’e watched the movie hundreds of times, and loved every minute of it. I love Lizzy, and the other sisters. So before watching the trailer, I really didn’t know to much about what I was getting myself into.

Though after watching the trailer, I was not disappointed. By what I can see, they have done an excellent job at bringing the beauty and fun of the original story, and bond of the sisters to a whole new level. There have been a lot of creative liberty taken in making this movie. But in my option, I see nothing wrong with how it has been executed from what I can see in the trailer. We see a talented mix of two polar opposite genres, creating something new and exciting.

You don’t mess with these girls.

These girls have been trained to be warriors in a highly sophisticated society. With all those pretty dresses and swords! (Did I mention that this was a book? Yeah it is. I am planning on reading that soon.)

This movie is not going to be for everyone. I know that. And I am sure the creators of this movie knew full well, as well. For me this is beyond perfect. I am that girl that loves dresses and princesses, but also love the the battle, the war, and the danger. This movie looks like it will cater that for me. I’m really looking forward to seeing the out come of this movie when it comes out.
