Hello Fans of the world! Tis I, Maddy C. and today, on the very last day of 2015, I have compiled a list of movies that are bound to keep you up all the way to 2016!
I don’t know what traditions your family may or may not have as far as new years eve, but in my family there are a few notable ones:
- SHRIMP RING (It doesn’t last very long but it’s still delicious)
- EVERYONE STAYS UP TILL MIDNIGHT (Yes, even the 4 year-old)
- MOVIES ALL NIGHT LONG (and TV Shows, like the year where we just watched Gilligan’s Island till 2:00 A.M. and completely forgot about midnight)
- FIREWORKS AT MIDNIGHT (We live in a rural location so our neighbour doesn’t mind)
Anywho, ON TO THE LIST:
FOR THE KIDS:
It’s on DVD now, trust me; I’ve been forced to see it at least five times already in the last week we’ve owned it.
It’s a cute movie with an interesting plot-line, and also to be preferred over watching Minions for the umpteenth time.
Excellent movie, very well done; and has many nods to the original fairytale without making it dark.
FOR THE FAMILY
AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON
AWESOME MOVIE! A must watch for any geeky movie fan.
Again, Awesome movie, very well done; the ants were more on the cute than the creepy side.
FOR THE ADULTS
BEST ONE YET, special effects were amazing, and the movie was overall, fantastic.
THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY PART 2
The fourth and final instalment of the Hunger Games series, and yes, it’s just as fantastic as the previous ones.
(Let’s face it, 2015 was the year of the geek, there were so many amazing movies that came out that were just AMAZING (STAR WARS – The Force Awakens, anyone?) and this one certainly)
THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E.
A reboot of the 1960’s series, (It’s got Superman in it!) Great movie, and a lot of fun to watch.
THE AGE OF ADALINE
Excellent movie, I’d totally recommend it; although it seems really similar to Forever
It’s not, it’s better, seriously, go watch it.
And there you have it! Nine, 2015 movies to ring in 2016! Bonus Points if you can guess which one(s) I’m watching tonight! Happy Watching!.
